Our very first experience at Or Hadash occurred when we decided to come to a Shabbat service where we were greeted very warmly.  This warmth as we came to realize is what Or Hadash is all about.....a warm, caring community of Jewish people who come mostly from the Northern area of York Region...Newmarket, Bradford, Keswick, Oak Ridges, etc.  Our members both young and old are welcome whether they are coming for Hebrew School, Shabbat Services, High Holy Day Services, our always fun Social Activities or our Adult Education Presentations.

Since then, I have become very active in Or Hadash, I am on the Chesed and Social committees, I have been on the Board of Directors as Secretary and now President.

We are entering a very exciting phase of our Synagogues future as we prepare for a move into our new home.  This is a very exciting time for all of us!

I would like to invite everyone who reads this to come join us and for those who have already joined to come more often. Come learn with us, be spiritual with us and to just have fun!  Laugh with us.
